Product Formula

The citrus notes at the opening of the bottle lightly lead to a fragrant bouquet of May roses and soft jasmine, and the soft touch of vanilla continues the sensual charm of the perfume.

Inspiration

In 1921, Gabrielle Chanel collaborated with perfumer Ernest Beau to create “a perfume that smells like a woman”. Mademoiselle Chanel chose the perfume sample No. 5 from the formula she created and kept this number as the name of the perfume. She chose a simple bottle for this new perfume, decorated with a white label and a diamond-faceted cap. In 1986
, Jacques Polge inherited the olfactory atmosphere of Ernest Beau’s classic creation N°5 and reinterpreted it to launch a more layered No. 5 perfume.
